Winter Wren
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with annual
precipitation more than 683 mm and less than 1% of their area
occupied by lakes/reservoirs. In drier regions, mostly associated with
mixed conifer forest (Northeast Oregon). The logistic regression
analysis showed positive or negative association with Douglas-fir - w.
hemlock - red cedar forest, mixed conifer forest (Northeast Oregon),
big sagebrush shrubland, topographic variation, the extent of public
land, April precipitation (hex. avg.), May precipitation (hex. max.),
and-to a lesser degree-elevation (hex. avg.) and July maximum
temperature (hex. min.).
